Need Arabic language info

And speaking of songs, can someone tell me if this is a Christian hymn and roughly what is it saying? The singing is pretty. And I assume, despite the name, the site has nothing to do with George Bush.:-)

Via my semi-caffeinated listening and mediocre Arabic, yes, Christian hymn, pretty standard cheesy stuff about seeing the Lord and hearing the Lord. Bushra refers to 'the good news' in the Christian sense, and tabshir (from the same root) means missionary work.

Wow, they've sure spiffed up the site since the last time I looked at it (which was probably at least three years ago, so no surprise there).

Thanks. I thought I heard "nur" (light) and maybe "God", and something about the morning maybe.

So Bushra basically means "Gospel".

Yes, I caught bits about God's light and the morning and stuff.

And yes, bushra could be translated as gospel.

I received this translation from someone who listened.

It's not all that cheesy, though the "guidance" line and the absence of Jesus gives it almost a Muslim flair.

My God I see you, I see you, My God I see you
In what your hands have made (created), I see you
I seek in you the right guidance Oh my God
And my heart fills with your brightness
I see you My God, I see you
I see you in the tender morning light
In the color of the flowers over the branches
And I hear your voice in every direction
And I listen to you through my tranquil heart.

Poetic cheese ;) Sorry, but if you'd had to sing inane hymns every morning through your school years you'd feel the same way.
